You have an amazing way of showing off your life and the things you do through pictures. Where do you find inspiration?
Oh thank you, that's so kind. Light is a great source of inspiration for me, I'm just so much more inclined to shoot the day away if the sun is shining. I'm also always collecting images, my saved folder on Instagram is a place I revert back to whenever I feel uninspired. I find that travelling always gives me a spark of creativity too.
"Art helps me connect with other people in ways that aren't always easy or even possible with words alone"
What makes you truly happy?
Making my son cackle, it's addictive. His laugh is the most healing sound in the world, truly. It never fails to bring a smile to my face, I feel like the child in me comes out too.
What is your relation to art?
That's a big big question. I will always see it as one of the most pure human connections that there is. Art helps me connect with other people in ways that aren't always easy or even possible with words alone. I surround myself with art, because it constantly feeds me. I also like how inclusive the word "art" is. Everything is art, being the songs you like, movies you watch, poems, theatre, even a quilt that your grandmother made or a drawing your kid brought home from school.
Tell me three things you can’t live without!
I would be lying if I didn't include my phone. It's where I write my thoughts, capture everything and anything and do most of my work. I also always carry a book and lip balm with me.
What can always be found in your fridge?
Photography film, eggs and oat milk.
How do you dress for a girls night out?
I haven't had one of those in a while, ha! But I'm a jeans and nice top kind of girl. Throw in some heeled boots, maybe a vintage blazer, lots of gold jewellery and there you go.
Dinner at home or going out?
Dinner at home, I love to cook and host.
Where’s your favourite place in the world?
I really love to return home, to the south of Portugal. The peaceful out-of-season Algarve is my retreat.
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
I'm not into the idea that I should somehow feel bad or guilty about enjoying something. So I very openly admit I love reality TV and I indulge in liberal amounts of salt and vinegar crisps.
How would you describe your home and style?
I think both at home and in fashion I value comfort first. I'm very casual about the way I dress, I love basics and good tailoring. For my home I just buy whatever I like and hope it all makes sense together. I guess you can tell that by my selection of pieces from WOA, they are all quite different from each other.
What would you like to recommend?
Stormzy's latest album, This Is What I Mean, I think it's the first album in ages that I have been listening as a whole on repeat.Give me your best breakfast! My husband's bacon and egg sandwiches!
