August Sandström
August Sandström was born in Jämtland and grew up in a small community outside Östersund. As a child, he drew with a pencil almost every day and has since always been involved in some form of image creation. Today, August lives in Stockholm, but his watercolor paintings often bring his thoughts back to the northern parts of the country. Snow-covered forests and wet fields are often motifs in his art. The original works behind his series of prints are 100% hand-painted in watercolor. He is often inspired by the everyday and boring parts of life. A telephone pole is as inspiring as a sunset.
