Emma Wiik is from Östersund but moved to Stockholm to study art. A number of years ago, Emma got an impulse to paint and it has been an ongoing process since then. She is drawn to working on building fields and volumes, predominantly with acrylic. Emma describes her way of working as experimental with color and shapes. On the border between abstract and imaginative. She tries to stay away from overwork and even rethink to stick more to the feeling she wants to try to create.
