Julia Schwarz is a freelance illustrator based in Berlin and creates art for advertising, editorial assignments and cultural purposes. She studied graphic design with a focus on illustration and experimental practice at the Folkwang University of the Arts and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf in Germany. Julia's illustration style is colorful, flat and modular. She combines digital elements with textures, influenced by analogue printing techniques to create content-related and visually exciting contrasts. By playing with these analog textures, she introduces a distinct liveliness in her digitally drawn images.
