To create this motif, Elin chose an animal that she does not usually draw and tried to draw it completely from memory without reference pictures. The motif feels playful and fits nicely in a children's room.

As a child, Elin often had difficulty managing her emotions and felt that she needed to get an outflow for them. She tried to write a diary, but it did not work, it was mostly graffiti on the lined pages. It was only when her mother asked if she "maybe you should just paint instead" that Elin tested and she has continued that way ever since. Art started as a hobby but after high school Elin invested wholeheartedly in it and in 2016 she started a graphic arts education via Dômen art school. After that, Elin felt that design was what she wanted to work with and began a bachelor's degree in design at the University of Design and Crafts, HDK. @elinpk
