Abstract artwork inspired by the forms of summer: the water and its waves, its blue that reflects the sky, the hazelnut color reminiscent of sand, the silver hidden in the rocks that lie on the beach. The original work is mainly created with acrylic paint but with elements of paper, as a subtle call to collage.
"Something of the mystery of the unexpected sneaks into the usual forms, giving rise to works that balance in colours and shapes that are familiar to us with others that are unthinkable." - Celeste Najt
Celeste Najt is an artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied Visual Arts during a period in which she began a search through digital collage with which her manual compositions acquired a new dimension and content, generating a dialogue between techniques. It is then that photography was placed at the center of her work, embodying the role of the “raw material” for her works, prompting her to study Photography at the School of Creative Photography, which she completed in 2011. Little by little, painting began to take on more of a leading role in her work, transforming and reusing forms that were previously collages.
