Claire Denarie-Soffietti was born and raised in Versailles and was an art student from the beginning. After eight years in Barbados, Claire decided to settle on the Dolphin Coast in South Africa. Claire Denarie has exhibited extensively internationally. From Barbados to the creative streets of Chelsea, New York. Cape Town and Johannesburg have also acted as venues for many of her works. Claire's work has evolved over the years. From calm portraits, a forest path, a woman resting on a chair, to pink elephants to Charlie Chaplin and Coco Chanel. Claire's figures carry secrets and suggest an inner world within the picture frame. “The more I give in to my vision, the more it seems meaningful. My freedom is joy. Even in sorrow, love of color will prevail. Dare to love, dare to fall".
