Amanda Åkerman is an Illustrator from Gothenburg and educated at HDK-Valand and Camberwell College of Arts. By capturing snapshots from everyday life, she creates a quiet, nuanced and stripped-down world of images. People, food, objects, architecture and nature are mixed, with inspiration from the immediate surroundings as well as from scenes from books and films. The color scale creates emotions and moods that are central to the process.
