A motif inspired by the Gobi Desert's rolling dunes and all the colors of the rainbow. To create this motif, Julia thought of things that make her happy, colors and patterns. She wanted to think less about the end result and more about the process and create without really knowing where it would end. Being able to create with children's imagination in mind made it possible for her to rediscover a kind of creativity that she herself had somewhat forgotten she had.

I was born in 1991 and I live in southern Sweden where work as an artist and illustrator. I’ve always loved to paint and draw and I can’t seem to decide which medium or style I like best; I want to try them all and keep experimenting with what I create. Abstract acrylic paintings, realistic oil portraits, pencil drawings and everything in between. To me art can both be powerful and provocative, but also exist simply to give joy to the beholder and color and character to a room.” @illustra
