A watercolor painting depicting the light on the other side of the lake. My childhood in northern Sweden is often reminded of dark and unsaturated motifs where nature is in some way influenced by society. My watercolors are often of forest clearings, telephone poles and poor clear-cutting.

I was born in Jämtland, Sweden, and I grew up in a small community outside Östersund. As a child, I drew almost every day and since then I have been involved in some form of art creation. Today I live in Stockholm, but my watercolors brings me back to the northern parts of the country. A snow-covered forest or a wet field are mostly represented in my watercolors. Everything I do here is 100% hand-painted watercolor and my creations are inspired by the boring parts of life. Not only the sunset is inspiring, for me, a telephone pole is that too.
