Jana Marei is a German artist with a strong focus on two-dimensionality. Her creative process is guided by the observation of chance occurrences and immediate impressions. In her artwork and illustrations, Jana highlights fragments, inner movements, and emotional field notes. She is fascinated by the concept that nothing inside or around us is ever truly complete, and that seemingly loose particles are in a constant state of connection and disconnection.
