We transformed a woodworking workshop in Neukölln, Berlin into a welcoming living room for the launch of Melanie Kieback's (@vanellimelli) collection SO SCARED.

Working with set designer Hely Doan, we sourced vintage furniture (including the de Sede DS-600 “Snake” sofa) which we combined with interior pieces from the artist Mel’s own home to create a space that felt like a natural extension of the artist’s style.
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Berlin, Neukölln is a neighborhood known for its eclectic mix of cultures, buzzing nightlife, and thriving art scene. This dynamic district, with its blend of the old and new, creates a perfect backdrop for artistic endeavors.
The project embodies the belief that the spaces we inhabit significantly shape our experiences and emotions. The purpose of the transformation was to create a space where art, interior design and people all contribute to a comfortable, creative atmosphere.
