What defines Graphic Art?
The term Graphic Art encompasses several different elements, such as shapes, images, text, illustrations, colours, and typography. The style originates from a graphic technique where various printing techniques are used to create an image. Techniques such as lithography, screen printing, etching, copper engraving, or woodcut could be used. These techniques make the theme more graphic with clear lines and shapes. From Egyptian hieroglyphs, we can see how art was created with symbols on paper. Today, it is common to create the art entirely or partly digitally to produce the prints.
