Maria Ahlkvist, the Österlen based creator who is most known for her minimalistic, monochrome and abstract way of working the brush. Now is the time to reveal the emotions which capsized the life she knew, the feelings she endured before, during and after the divorce. The new collection, the apart part, might be looked upon as cheerful and with bliss but was actually created in the sense of mental breakdown and heartache. The creations worked as a first aid kit, a way to breathe more effortless and with no pressure to be portrayed for others. The pink acrylic paintings are now visible.
